Uh-oh. Succubus lost her power and now all the tainted have powered up to ultra-super-filthy-tainted.
Originally I was going to end this chapter after the wedding and some closing dialog and have Succubus gradually power down over the course of a couple of months. But it occurred to me later that if she’s really loyal to Kickman and willing to work with Team Kick, they could pretty much use her to free the rest of Hero City in no time. So I had to figure out a way to power her down immediately. It didn’t occur to me that all that demonic energy had to go somewhere. If all our heroes die, I guess it’s my fault.
And now for my next impression: Jesse Owens!
I’ll ask it: How smug does Supreme Leader feel, knowing he’s going to receive Spectre-level power in the next couple comics?
Angelica may be able to regain some (possibly angelic?) power, but it won’t be at the level she was at a few minutes ago, and it’d be a bit problematic to charge up right this moment.
I think it will take some time to rebuild at you like Powers but I agree with you she should get them. Because demons are just fallen angels.
All things considered, do they want to drain power from Heaven for their personal gain?
Personal gain? No. To liberate and protect others yes. Also drain heaven? Should we drain the sun to power our cities (solar panels)? It is freely given for the asking.
It will take some adjustment. That is my theory.
I like your understanding of the power of Heaven, but the question remains of how it may be used. I mean, if we’re going by the evangelical sources, it is used to nurture, heal, and forgive. Oh, and bypass language barriers.
Extremely useful for Kickman and Grayhawk’s job of rescuing refugees, but right now it may not help against demons.
(Wait, just now I remember that it can also be used to repel demons… Are there swine nearby?)
Suspect Demon lawyer is still pants free based on the images. And I wonder what a Kickman Kick would do to super demony twig and berries? (what sound would he make before kicking? CRUNCH?)
