That “Whoa” in panel 1 should sound exactly like Keanu Reeves.
I’ve been told that I look like Keanu.
Looks like Team Kick with an assist from the Vatican armory saved the day once again. There may be repercussions of course. After all Vatican City had signed a non-interference treaty with Villain City and one of their Holy Weapons of Mass Consecration was used against the villainous and demonic population there. Someone (meaning Elizabeth St. Augustine) is going to be the sacrificial scapegoat for that.
There are still a few pages left to wrap this chapter. I didn’t mean for this chapter to end up being so long. Hopefully we can get away from the demonic and have some good-old-fashioned superhero antics. Oh, well, except that Kickman brought home a demon-powered wife, so there may also be some repercussions there.
Today’s Kickman page was created and uploaded from my cat sit in Benecia, California. If there are any Kick Fans in the area, give me a shout out before I move on in a few days. Friday morning I will be at a new cat/dog-sit near Walnut Creek (actually Lafayette I believe). Then back to El Cerrito. I have about ten days where I will be taking a break from pet-sitting and making a loop through some national parks in Utah. Depending on how many coffee shops are in the area, I may be missing a few updates in the second half of September. Unless I buckle down and actually make a buffer like most sane webcomic artists already have. I am uploading this on Saturday night. We will see.
“Wish more of these dudes had pants.” If I had a nickel…
Tech advancing in exorcisms/holy war is a pretty cool idea
Like playing back that purification ritual at 50x speed multiple times in multiple languages. Now, if necromancers and demonologists started doing the same thing, doing mass summons in cities instead of bothering with suitcase nukes. I think we’ve got us a whole novel series… Holy Tech War? Daemon Punk? Cyber-Rite Wars?
“Everything with in a kilometer radius has been sanctified”
God is metric? Certain French revolutionaries might not be pleased…
Oops, misprint. That should have been kilocubits.
