You all remember Axel? From that group therapy session where he kept trying to talk about his father issues. I think he’s due for some closure on that front. Any guesses on who is placing that reassuring “there there” hand on his shoulder in panel 3. That same hand was comforting him when he started crying in the chapter Criminal Minds. He’s a big softie.
Surprised I managed to get this page done on time. Spent the better part of two days dragging half the contents out of a four-bedroom townhome, including the attic and basement. Tomorrow will be the mother of all moving sales. Oh, wait a minute. Tomorrow is Saturday not Sunday! I don’t have to finish this comic for another day. Well, by the time you read this my moving sale will have been yesterday. Hopefully I have nothing left except for the clothes on my back by now.
Everything here is/was for sale. And there’s about twice as much stuff outside the house on the front and side lawn as well.
Also, would someone please go back to Axel’s first therapy session and identify the Easter Egg there. http://kickmancomic.mattslawblog.com/comic/criminal-minds-2/
Reassuring guy is the villian known as “Thunderchief”
That is correct! Although Reassuring Guy would also make for a great C-List hero or villain… 3 Kick Points to Erix!
I was expecting the big embarrasment would have an effect oin Superiors powers , but apparently not …
Mass disownment might, though. Or if Superior man starts killing them; a large portion of his children are in this prison. If they all die, he’ll likely be much weaker.
I think his children werent recognized before , which leaves only the killing theory …. and one of his sons is just pissing him off , good start
I meant mass disownment from their side. As in, like this guy is doing, saying “you’re not my father.” He seems to get a fraction of each of his children’s powers, and while this appears to be on by default, it’s possible that this power drain requires willing hosts. There’s quite a few ways this could play out, depending on how Matt determines the specifics of Superior Man’s power source.
Brought to you by Iron Horse Entertainment;)
Uh-oh. If Iron Horse puts in a bid to buy Kickman again this could become a bloodbath!
For whatever reason, the site was unaccessible to me since yesterday. I’ll try to show it where it counts at some point,, but just in case the server crashes or I get a stroke, or get tracked down by Rick Rude’s actual son or something – you need to know – you are the most supercool webcomic author and we love you. Thanks for being the you that we get to see.
here here! and for those of us who don’t- and won’t- use patreon, is there a paypal?
Wow, I never thought about a Paypal tip jar. I should update my “Help Me Kick” section. If anyone feels compelled to throw me a tip for my comics my Paypal account is mattador5@gmail.com. Thanks guys, for your encouraging words.
Please do update the Help Me Kick section- also with how to spend kick points
So I went back to the comic page to linked and I was hey all the the convicts have the same eyecolor and wondred is this all foreshadowing to the big unveiling. Anyway I think Axel Montgomery is an actor. When I mistyped the and searched I Found that there a Doctor in france with a similar name (Axel Montagne) that studies the mind which is fitting cause that comic page Kickman is playing mind games.
Yup, this has been planned from waaay back. Tried to leave enough clues that someone COULD figure it out, but not TOO obvious (like panel 1 last week). I think when I finally get to the Epilogue of this chapter I may actually send chills down some spines. We’ll see.
As for Dr. Axel Montagne. Not the Easter Egg I was looking for, but an interesting little tidbit from Paris. Sooo 3 Kick Points for Bubba!
I’m sorry but are you implying that Kickman is related to Superiorman, because they are both blonde blue-eyed and have super powers. And yes I know Kickman got hit with a million hero phenomenons but maybe they just kickstarted his powers. Also maybe those phenomena affected the colour of his “Kickpower” or maybe he’s just the kid who didn’t get blue energy. So am I close here?
I asked that last week admittedly in a confusing manner.
