Blush is leaving Team Kick for a while. Before Succubus succeeds in driving her insane.
Maybe she’ll become a nun and join the Order of Vigil, taking over Elizabeth St. Augustine’s old position.
Today’s Kickman was drawn and uploaded from Long Beach, Washington. Where I spent a lot of time on a couch in a four-dog pile.
“Thing” huh? That’s rough!
Then again, Blush tracks people by a certain emotional state and Succubus doesn’t seem to have it. It’s gotta be like walking around a void (that stole your crush)
Good point. Succubus would probably never be embarrassed by anything no matter how depraved. She’s like a black hole to Blush’s power.
I think even Succubus would be embarrassed by her belly gurgling. That goes double if during the act.
(Of course, I can’t really see Blush taking advantage of the latter…)
I wish Blush would have added “I’m not” to her last balloon in Panel 6….
We can add it in to the special collector’s edition for Christmas.
Awwww that’s beautiful. Y’know, when I come here I’m usually looking forward to good story, tight plot, funny lines and situations, but not necessarily feelings. (That’s not a criticism. I like feelings, but then I also like overdrive-distortion guitar and I love Beethoven’s Seventh, that features none of it.) When you deliver on feelings, you do it really well. Congratulations!
(Oh and yeah, it would be fun to see Blush kick ass with training rather than powers.)
I do try to add some occasional feels. Even in over-the-top comedies like Jim Carrey in “Liar, Liar” there were a couple of lines that hit me like a gut punch. Those were: “I hold myself in contempt!” and “I’m a bad father!” Don’t care for many of his movies but that really landed. Of course I also liked the wrestling scene from Ace Ventura 2…
