Did anybody see that one coming? I was trying to drop hints, during the flashback scenes in Kickman Returns. While Blue Jay and Generic Kung-Fu Superhero Sidekick were working together coming up with plans to defeat Superior Man, they were completing each others’ thoughts and sentences. Sharing a mind link with someone for a month you grow close to them. And Blue Jay already had the hots for Generic if you go all the way back to Networking #7.
Psi-Hawker tried to warn them!
Next week: Sticky Buns.
They’re all going to follow aren’t they.
So… if Kickman, LLC has a strict policy on workplace romance, then wouldn’t it be ideal for them to remain on different teams?
That is a good point, however it is the principle of the matter. Fraternizing with superhero teammates always ends with one of them dying in a death trap.
Well, that complicates things. How will be things with Sticky Buns?
Well it seems every “Cat fight!” turn has been used….
Is this because Sticky didn’t know Groper’s other nickname?
What is she, 16?
Nah, she’s 20. I’m sure of it. She looks tiny because she was an Olympic gymnast.
I’ve been meaning to do 3-panel origin stories of all the fringe characters but never got around to it. And the Black Bat/Blue Jay story has an interesting twist.
Actually, it was because it was a $10 goal at my Patreon account which I never hit.
Justice Rangers Grayhawk is dead, long live Kickman, LLCs Generic Kung-Fu Superhero Sidekick!
