Everyone has a role to play in the Battle Prep Montage. Some roles are more rewarding than others.
Matt has to organize evacuations, get blue prints, devise blind plans, tear up some roads (after implementing all kinds of committees to maintain the roads in their section of Hero City). Kickman just has to pleasure the missus as best he can.
I struggled like heck drawing those stupid barbell plates. If I was patient I would have carefully drawn the whole thing in rectangles in perspective first before making them into disks. That’s like comic perspective drawing 101. It still doesn’t look quite right, but I’ve got deadlines dang it!
Also, the Kickman action figure has returned. Anyone remember when that first appeared in the comic? It was quite a while ago. 3 Kick Points to the first person to remind everyone else. Plus a bonus 2 Kick Points if you can say without scrolling back through all the old strips (you are on the honor system there).
Also, check out the video clip at the end of the time lapse. It’s like the video AI said, “Dude! You did NOT go hard enough on this page! Watch this! THIS is how you comic!”

Power Play #8. Now, technically I skimmed through Power Play, but I did start the search there. So really, it’s your call.
5 Kick Points for Swimsquad. You didn’t need to give me the exact page number, I would have accepted, “The one where they are playing not-D&D.”
Also, is it just me or did the ladies get a *cough* *cough* “boost” since the last time Angela was powered up.
If the side effect of her powers is that she becomes more desirable to attract additional mates, or to… re-up her available mate, then her physical changes might be based on the preferences of her most recent… power source. Kickman is definitely a boob guy, so that might help to give her great advantages.
Image 5, the hair over the demon ears really helps with here looks. Also the smaller horns no longer overwhelm her head unlike image two, in fact her entire head seems better proportioned.
As for the Kickman action figure, don’t care when it was introduced as I don’t play with dolls….
What? You don’t like elf ears on your women? Oh, that reminds me… T’Pol was my favorite Vulcan.
I’m really concerned about the parameters of this experiment.
Is her lifting power improved linearly? Is it logarithmic? (Logarythmic?)
Is the… duration relevant? Would Kickman be more effective in powering her up if he had PE?
Now that it’s for science…
This subject deserves it’s own trade paperback graphic novel. It will of course have to be licensed under a separate license for Adult comics (Adult with a capital “A”), KICKMAN AFTER DARK. Or… I’ll just let the internet fan-fiction guys take care of it.
Needs music…
“We’re gonna need a montage (Montage)
A sports-training montage (Montage)
That’s called a montage (Montage)
Even Rocky had a montage (Montage)
Always fade out (Montage) into a montage (Montage)…….”

Oi, I love that track. Actually, I first heard the Team America version although I think that one came out after they did it on South Park.
