Is that an echoing “krakadoom” or is that multiple overlapping “krakadooms” for each building that she crashes through? We’ll have to ask a physicist. Maybe a sonar specialist. Hey, whatever happened to that hero with the big ears? If he’s still in the country I bet he heard that.
I totally forgot to label those buildings that Sparta is crashing through in the last panel. Something along the lines of “Discarded Engine Block Storage,” “Anvil Factory,” “Bank Vault repair,” “Osmium Retail Outlet,” etc… Basically, the hardest buildings in the world. Yeah, the last one should have just been “The Hardest Building in the World.”
Suffice it to say, Kickman did not hold back on that kick.
I am uploading this comic from a Panera in Placentia, California near Anaheim. My next sit does not begin until the 17th, so I have a long haul living on the road until then. Longer than I would normally be comfortable with. Hopefully a job will open up before then.

Meh! He should have done a full Alice Kramden on her. (One of these days!…)
Yeah, but a trip to the moon doesn’t have any objects to smash through. Some might find it quite relaxing.
Wow… so, even kicking Superior Man to the moon, K was holding back? This is, like, Beyond-level kicking!
Nah, he probably wasn’t holding back on that one either. Well, maybe an argument could be made that part of that moon trajectory was flight assisted, the equivalent of a Superior Flinch on Superior Man’s part.
Hey Archives, what did you mean when you asked “Scarlet or Baroness?”
It’s a battle of wits. As we all know: Women are among the more deadly poisons known to man.
All you have to do is divine from what you know of Vadan: Is he the sort of man who would choose Baroness or Scarlett? A clever man would choose Baroness, because he would know that only a meddling hero would reach for Scarlett. You are not an insignificant pest, so you could clearly not choose Baroness. But you could also be a contrarian and choose Jinx, or a millennial and choose Helix.
((I lost the thread.) It’s kind mundane considering the circumstances but I was wondering on Vadan’s opinion for best GI Joe girl since he’s as close to Joe as people can probably get. (Lawyer up? Hardcase? duuno, I’m not a name guy))
Dude, you’ve totally lost me.
I’m a lawyer and a police officer (one pays, one doesn’t, and I’m not supposed to shoot people in either role.)
But the toughest women out there are the ones you don’t expect. I’ve got a neighbour who is a reservist sharpshooter. I asked her why she doesn’t carry a side-arm. Her response- ‘if I’ve let an enemy get within 100 meters alive, I’ve already failed.’
I don’t play Catan with her anymore…
Okay, now I’m even more confused. Who is Vadan, where is he from and why are we waxing poetic about women? Please pretend I’ve been living under a rock for the last decade or two.
@Swimsquad:
I’m a Jewish Aussie lawyer who emigrated to Israel nearly a decade ago. I moonlight as a volunteer police officer.
My PhD is in the analysis of arbitration efforts to resolve international conflicts. (spoiler- they don’t work but people think they do)
And in 2010, I wrote my undergraduate thesis, ‘The Influence of Bram Stoker’s Dracula on the Development of the Modern Vampire.’
As to Baroness or Scarlett, I’m happily married- and much too sensible to consider hypotheticals that would get me in trouble.
