I’m starting to wonder how the Justice Rangers got saddled with this Sparta chick. She almost let Green Ring die, then almost killed Blue Bat. That is a whole lot of indifference. Like, Greek god levels of indifference.
Blue Bat still has the feels for Grayhawk. It could be mutual, but we will never know, because the camera frame was too far away to capture his thought bubble. Although his thought in that frame is probably more like, “This Greek chick is going to kill me unless I do something fast…” I should probably conduct a poll: “Who do you think would be the best romantic partner for Grayhawk?” Sticky Buns. Blue Bat. Or the waitress at Mom’s House of Pies. You’ll have to go back to Chapter 5 to catch up with her.

Really, Blue Bat’s been nothing but incompetent since this whole thing started. I was -sure- they were just holding back, but GR manifested shackles straight onto his target in the Superior Man fight which made the capture bubble was a pretty big flag. (So many angles on this fight!) I was -sure- she was sabotaging the team, but if she was, the last panel wouldn’t have happened. (and I’m -sure- there’s no backup now, since most of what’s gone on could have been countered/flanked with an airstrike)
And now she’s just announced that she’s horny for the target of their global-sanctioned raid into a rouge state. In front of the team she’s leading. WOW! (so that rules out Polly)
What is she’s really into Sparta, based on that image??
That’d be a great twist on Greyhawk’s attractiveness and the Paradise Island (lesbos) origin! …but I’m pretty (like thirty percent sure?) certain Author Matt’s building her to be incompetent for a reason. (I mean look at her trying to manage the warrior after having her teammate throw her into a fast-paced ariel melee while limited to gliding. There are two other teammates who are mysteriously *completely* out of the fight here, and she’s not thinking about either. (this is significant because there’s no way to know Jay and Matt -haven’t- contracted villains for an emergency defense (If they rangers had Team Kick under surveillance and wanted to win, they’d attack separately or while Team Kick was sleeping (there’s a *lot* going on here)))
Ohhhhhh… She knows who did the massive explosion and she’s panicking. Shoot, that ties everything together.

…Huh. Financial stuff is off topic, but they (Basel III) just declared Gold and Silver to be able to be held by Banks as equivalent to cash. Seeing as PM’s are going up and cash is inflating, this might be extremely opportune. (It -just- happened, so we’re on the edge here) (sorry, I’m kinda out of it- AI will be able to explain better)
Basically there’s no downside and a lot of upside for banks to exchange large amounts of “cash” for precious metals.

Aargh! There’s too many vague sources (sorry guys). Logically, the banks would trade in their depreciating cash for appreciating metals and they’d incestuously build the PM price infinitely, but something else is going on? Duuno. If I find a way to a million bucks it’ll be posted here.
The smart money in PMs has already been made. Au and Ag do not change in value, they are a store of value, the only thing that changes is the number of dollars required to buy it. That was a good find you made about Basil III, I watch this sort of thing closely, and it’s the first I’ve heard of it as well. The change in reserve status correlates almost exactly to the start of the bull run, and the shorts manipulating the prices or years are finally getting murdered. Good.

Okay. I’ve been digging a lot. Looks like China’s lending to pay off nations debts (to America) (in dollars) and getting payment for THAT in commodities. Which moves all those dollars back to America. …Long story short, there isn’t really a counter for this besides going full isolationist. For some reason we’re selling paper-redeemable silver to them and then backing out of the deliveries. (not just China, Samsung went and bought a mine two monthsish ago) (Which seems to be what happened last week. JPMorgan sank the cost over the weekend then paid off in cash, crashing China’s market. China froze their market a day over that. (I can’t imagine it’ll work twice)). Also, it looks like a new kind of chatbot’s being deployed against 4chan, it just argues against the last post. (there’s keyword targeting) Interesting. (I haven’t been poking that site in a while (4plebs exists so there’s no reason to) but it’s an interesting thing that seems to be preforming abnormally well against a group that’s always been impossible to shift. (important because they’re usually first on the scene with this kind of data (hate is such a -weird- motivator))
