Maybe this scene should have been at the end of the last chapter. It certainly looks like an ending scene.
The two day countdown has begun. What kind of crazy contingency plans can Grayhawk come up with in that time? Will Kickman be in the proper head space for a boss fight? Who will come into battle with them? Angelina..? After a couple of extra rolls in the hay? Lady Crane? The entire Kickboy army?
Will Villain City survive the conflict?
I’m not providing any answers. I’m just asking questions, tough guy.
Stay tuned!

I know, I know… everyone is afraid to leave fun or snarky comments at Blush’s funeral.
Getting the feeling he’s about to kick for the stars…..Supreme Leader first…..
That’s how this series (Kickman, LLC) eventually ends. The corporation is dissolved and Kickman becomes the new herald of Galactus, the Copper Kicker!
Really? I thought it would end when someone finally gave him a shoe sponsorship deal.
Does he get his own line?
‘Kickz?’ ‘Stompers?’ ‘Blushboots’ (in memory of?)
Superiority soles?
First of all, I see Kickman as more of a gold kind of guy. And secondly, why is Adam just ‘brother’ and not ‘beloved brother.’
??? Thought everyone had a brother like that. (or is/was one)
That’s his title, he was an actual friar.
Nice to see an acknowledgement that there is a price for fighting evil, and we need to honor those who pay that price for us. And this strip comes out the week before the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
I echo this sentiment. All jokes aside, I think there is some very nice writing in this strip, also. Good stuff, Matt.
Sorry, I don’t have a joke right now. I don’t even want to make one.
Then again, neither does the author. Unless there’s a math joke in giving Daniel Ramirez a number that’s the sum of those for Mr. Chang and Thomas (13 + 86 does equate 99)?
See! jd. gets it!
