“Actually it was Fiverr”
This is what happens when you go into battle with an untested team member.
Matt S. Law Creative Studios, LLC will be on the road tomorrow. I am leaving a pet sit in Alameda, CA and heading over to Concord, where we’ll be staying for a few weeks taking care of a new pair of dogs. An international petsitters job is never done. Especially when he also is an actor, artist, writer… Well, it’s been a while since I’ve done any acting gigs. Don’t imagine there will be any opportunities in the town of Concord.
If anyone is shooting an indy film in Concord, CA and needs an emergency fill-in for “tall, lanky guy in background,” give me a shout. Or, you know, “heroic action hero lead” or whatever.
Be sure to keep an eye out for the Java-Mobile those of you in Northern California.
Oh, and almost forgot! There are 50 KICK POINTS up for grabs! For those of you that don’t follow me on Twitter, or on Hive, or didn’t catch my response to SVGeezer’s comment on last weeks page… You can get 50 Kick Points for guessing what happens in the next panel of The Real Superheroines of Hive Valley: Pool Party! chapter. I just have fun with the surprise twists. And I’m having fun with this series, not taking it particularly seriously. I mean, Fantomah hooked up with The Spectre last chapter…
Also, I just noticed that comments were closed over at Real Superheroines. The default setting only allows comments for 28 days after posting, and since I keep updating the same post with new panels it’s been that long. I changed the setting so comments are now open on all chapters.
OK, have fun!
Is head butting narration box breaking the second wall?
It came close to breaking something
The narration is pretty well done and I don’t think you intend this one to be a fixture anyway but you need to get tenses right. The Narrator should always be *now* unless in a flashback. So, present tense. You might be adding the narration through post-editing but the audience will not see that.
Unless ‘inept narrator’ is what you’re going for. In which case you’re nailing it.
Looking back I really cannot believe how hard Matt set this up.
