Almost to the end of the chapter… Blush is going to develop a rep for starting superheroine catfights. If she survives this one.

Blush has the ability to sense Embarrassment. That’s a grade 1 power – passive. Grade 2 would be about balancing – maybe neutralising embarrassment to a neutral state? Grade 3 would be embarrassment projection – that could be crippling if taken to the point it incapacitates someone. Grade 4 – Embarrassment mirroring. If one person is embarrassed then she can reflect it, maybe to a lot of people. Grade 5 – Embarrassment Amplification. If she thinks about an embarrassing joke and amplifies and projects, then it could really do a number on someone. Literally to the point someone would run away or get knocked out – emotions are powerful things.

I can’t wait to see her active powerset develop. As an empath warrior she is kind of limited at the moment – but I think she could with training become a powerful superheroine in her own right.

Of course this powerset is completely embarrassment focused – there is no reason at all that her higher-grade powers couldn’t be themed to other emotions.

I know, I think about this stuff too much. It’s kinda embarrassing. 🙂
