Ohhh, there’s that sonic bomb!
Good, that won’t cause a red flag in next week’s inventory…
And it looks like someone is about to get kicked! In this webcomic that is called “Kickman.”
This week I will be leaving a very nice pet sit in Costa Mesa with two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. One of them is blind and deaf, so he takes some extra care, but he is the absolute sweetest little guy. Hopefully, his parents will go on a one-month cruise and need me to take care of them again. For those of you that are new here, I am a homeless guy that pet-sits for housing and is completely nomadic while creating these web comics. Something to think about while deciding if you want to up-vote this post on HIVE or become a supporter on Patreon or just send some Paypal funds to show your appreciation…
Next week: Kickman Vs. Sparta!
‘Nuff Said!

The funny thing is, Grayhawk (back then still Generic Kung Fu Hero Sidekick) learned to be this paranoid and prepared because Blue Bat herself (back then Blue Jay if I remember correctly) pushed that mindset into him in their conversations. Plus, he had lots of unique experience between taking down Superior Man and fighting guerilla warfare in Villain City.
This battle will come down to who has planned more contingencies ahead of the other
I’m not ruling out that this was a planned effort between Greyhawk & Bluebat – especially with how Sparta has been the most aggressive of the rangers. Non Zero possibility that she is a plant, and this is a way to remove her from the equation. Even more out there theory – this is a misdirection where while Luthor’s attention is firmly planted here. Blush and/or Crane have a separate assignment.
At least one theory shall be ruled out in the upcoming pages
Nice misdirect.
Will Sparta be bleeding out of her ears? Or is she too tough for that?
Hopefully Kickman can boot her right out of the city. Like right into orbit.
She could clean the windows on the International Space Station.
Well he’s jumping off a rooftop towards her so a kick into orbit would be extra tricky. He may try to kick her down into Count Mole’s territory.
I think you should have a counter- how many panels since the last kick
Oh we shall soon have a month’s worth of kicks flying hither and yon!
Cecil is smart, and yes I’m going there, but not as smart as he thinks. Greyhawk, as Generic Sidekick, completely out thought and manoeuvred him and Cecil’s in full denial about that, just diminishing him in his statements. Back when I read comics Batman said this about the Penguin “he’s smarter than I am” and found other ways to beat him.
Really? Penguin? Huh. Okay… Not the Riddler?
I’m just going to leave this here:

(spoiler alert: its the Joker? I would have gone with Hugo Strange)
Harley in 14!?
Wow, Owlman’s not even on there!
One thing to keep in mind is characters change over time. DC had some very good writers working on Batman in the 1980’s and 1990’s and The Penguin was transformed into a very serious and smart character from the clown he had once been. In some he felt like he had been modeled from the Arnold Rothstein in eight men out.
Suspect many of these references are too old for half the commenters here.
They are, but we appreciate it. (I didn’t know what the Princess Bride was until a few weeks ago)
INCONCIEVABLE! Do you know about Tank Girl? The two movies are linked in my mind for some reason.
Nope! Found a copy in Archive.org though, I’ll check it out! (and thanks! (here’s the link if anyone else is interested))

You keep using that word…I don’t think it means what you think it means…
Okay, so Kickman and Greyhawk evacuated the area and are ~a block away. Explosion?
Also nice way to snipe the second fastest character out of the fight! (unless she can grapple out of the hit)
Sparta is not out of this yet. She hasn’t even had a chance to monologue her origin story to the audience… I mean to Kickman and Grayhawk.
