C’mon, Lady Crane… super-heroing is all about the banter. Also, if The Princess Bride is any indication, sword fights are also all about the banter!
Posting this a little bit late. I had this page drawn and colored before I left Napa yesterday. Then I had to drive 10 hours back down to the Thousand Oaks area yesterday. I spent the night in the parking lot outside of Planet Fitness, went to church this morning in Westlake, now am in a Panera where I could insert the text and publish this page. Only about 7 hours late.
So long, Clancy in Napa. Hello, Robbi in Moorpark. I’ll be taking care of a very cool Husky starting on Wednesday, but will be car camping until then. Enjoy the super battle. Beware of collateral damage.

It’s been days now and no snarky comments up yet?
Does this mean there are no readers left???? (hello-ooo) (cricket!)(cricket!)
I’m here, there’s just not much to comment on. Blue Bat’s kicking Greyhawk’s ass by virtue of keeping him occupied. If that goes on for more than a few seconds, Jay should go down. There are outliers and things we can theorize on (no shield on the bricks, so something may have happened to Green Ring) and I doubt Jade Mask is limited to Prospero’s powerset (It would be REALLY crazy if he could channel the city’s genius loci, but that could backfire hard since he abandoned it), but it’s mid-comic book fight! Time to sit back and enjoy the fireworks!
(although if Team Kick actually manages the win (unlikely but possible) it’s a total victory for Luthor, since his international merc-teams are competing directly with the Justice Rangers (which now that I think about it, is how he nearly one last time))
This was actually super insightful as you will see next week. If Green Ring is not paying attention to the Kickman side of the field of play, then he must be paying attention somewhere else, right..?
Excuse me for taking my time. Also, ‘hiss’ reverse grip ‘hiss’. I refer you to sellswordarts (YouTube) for elaboration.
>Swimsquad is some kind of duelist
There are no normal KickFans!
Actually I prefer blunt force weapons and grenades myself.
That’s… still pretty cool
If blunt force doesn’t work you’re not using enough. (now where is that from?)(heh!)
That was a pretty good video. Here’s the link if anyone wants a tutorial on the reverse grip: https://youtu.be/tKFeF26-GBI?si=pQ0Aca3Sl-DMo8RJ
Of course my takeaway is: Lady Crane must be a compelling character for using a reverse grip. Of course, she only has the reverse grip on the cane in her left hand and not the sword, so she has a mixed regular/reverse grip. I’m not sure if that makes her half-compelling or double-compelling.
Yet, she has to learn about proper banter. She got handed such a good lead-in for an Inigo vs. Wesley fencing dialogue.
Exactly, she is not ready for the majors
