Recent events in Florida have been decried nationwide as vote rigging. However what occurred was a shutdown of several things the other side has considered voterigging for quite some time.
In other words, both sides agree the elections can be (and are actively being) rigged. Despite this clear belief and agreeance in the violation of their only real say in society, there has not been a single step to repair or improve the process.
There’s a couple (too many really) directions people can go with this but it is an interesting thing. Try posting it somewhere and watch people fractionalize trying to explain/justify their lack of voice.
…I’m not a sadist. It’s just fun to do this stuff after a while.

Not the there I was thinking of. More the whole “Pedophile Island” thing, where supposedly large numbers traveled with him there but no list has been published. (Except for that one Prince, no not “Prince”)
Politics is what drives me here to avoid it. (wonder if that’s common?)

You guys read my strip to escape politics? But the final chapter of the Villain City arc was going to be Kickman running for Supreme Leader of the city against the incumbent fire-headed dude.
You claim not to be a sadist, and I believe you, but everyone is, from time to time, sadistic in their feelings or behaviors. There’s even a term for it; “Schadenfreud”-where you take pleasure in the misfortunes of others. As for the rest of your post teasing modern politics? I realized something after the last bad relationship, and so have committed myself to only giving a damn about things I can actually do something about.
Notably, the politics of another state, far from me, where I don’t live, is one of those “I can’t do anything about it so I just don’t care anymore” things. If you actually want to do something significant with your political ideas, it’s work locally on a scale where you can actually DO SOMETHING.
Otherwise? it’s just wasted energy and frustration.
Scale’s too small and you’ll be outplayed (and metaphorically erased) the second someone at or above your level (or someone on your level who fractionalized and thus has an effective team behind due to basic psychology) with more resources steps in to correct. If not, then you were never important (or worse, helpful to the harmful) in the first place.
The only thing that’s worthwhile is here. I just don’t have the will to add my share of it.
Oddly enough this reminds me of a computer game called Majesty – the Fantasy Kingdom Sim. You play the role of a King and manage bounties and spells – which seems to be our mysterious Villain City leader’s strategy here.
