Grayhawk is in a moral quandary. Kickman and Lady Crane, less so.
I think most people would be okay with letting an investigator of dubious character perform important life-threatening work against a grave threat. But Grayhawk is one of those silver-age heroes, who wants to keep anyone from getting killed.
Except that one time with the nuclear weapons. That was a worst-case scenario and it worked out okay.
This week’s Kickman was uploaded from a pet sit in Oceanside, California with Sammy the Cat sitting on my lap. He was also, here off and on while I was drawing and he kept batting at my Surface pen which slows down my productivity. I am currently about 100 miles south of the fires around LA, so not in any danger. However, in about three weeks I am supposed to be dog-sitting in Moorpark, which is on the opposite side of all the fires, so we’ll see how that turns out.
Thoughts and prayers for the people near the fires.
Been thinking about Fearless, er SUPREME LEADER. He was installed/selected as Leader, who did the installing/selecting? Why not talk to them about him? If he was one of the released prisoners shouldn’t there be a Rap Sheet on him somewhere?
He could not just come from nowhere and assume command without proving himself first. There is a there there.
Couldn’t be Luthor. (That guy pushes Luthor around like a foam brick) Had to be a display of force somewhere, something to justify that ‘drown the city in hellfire’ line.
Or he has just been looking at LA lately… (See! It’s not hard)
