“Sidekick Promotion”
Originally I thought I would have Superior Man confirm the self-destruct himself, just to show how futile the Black Bat’s plans are and to demonstrate his invulnerability. This seemed like a more dramatic end for the Black Bat and a traumatic introduction to the Justice Rangers for Blue Jay.
Now all she has to do is recruit a new team of Justice Rangers and defeat Superior Man. That should wrap up in about two more pages, right?
Nah.
Honestly he went overly vindictive. But something feels off.
Close simulation.
Nah Matt wouldn’t do that to us.
Nor alternate universe/timeline.
… All he had to do was wrap him up in strips of the hull and remove all mikes from his area. Bad tactics.
Yup, this is all real. No dream sequence or holo-deck.
Loving this!
Does Superior Man breath?
He can probably hold his breath for 3, maybe 3-and-a-half days.
So here we are for a Superior dictature that does not even need a virus to happen!
And with his Superior Heaing, he won’t even need journalists to doxx his enemies.
Wow… Blue Jay did not even hesitate! She saw what needed to be done and she did it, with impeccable dramatic timing. Stone cold and stylish!
And now she is the only Justice Ranger… and any recruitment drive now would be a hard sell.
I have to ask, though, why does Superior Man want to rule the world? What’s his deal? It doesn’t seem like he wants to improve things, like he really cares about Earth or anything else. What’s his goal here? If we all bowed down, would he just go away?
He probably took a look at North Korea and said, “That dude doesn’t have any problems and his whole COUNTRY loves him!”
it just seems like he isn’t really interested in hard work, so much as hero worship…
That is his power. Belief that he can.
Looks like the company pension plan is in good shape…
