Sorry, I’ve been out of commission lately. Started off with flu then a cold and has now progressed to the persistent, violent coughing phase. I have not drawn or written a single pixel of anything for almost two full weeks. The thought of picking up my stylus and looking at my surface screen for some reason makes my lungs feel like they’re filling with phlegm. I’m better now than I was last week, but still, no update for Kickman this week. I’ll get to work on Java Jaguar tomorrow. Baby steps.

Wow, hope all the best in your recovery. Love your work.
Thanks! Fortunately I have a nice, tiny house in the hills of Malibu to recover in right now. I really just need to shake this cough before next week, when I’m supposed to be on a plane to Florida…
MATT LIVES!!!
And I can see all the secret alien submission messages with these special sunglasses!
All the best to you. Get well as soon as you can, and take care of yourself first and foremost.
We’ll wait. We’ll be there.
Thanks, jd! I’m feeling much better now. I can probably start exercising again.
Hey Matt, welcome back! As a ‘mathian’ type, I don’t need to see the “show your work” here to know that 50 miles is exaggerated to the extreme. A standard .44 caliber bullet fired from a 1911 pistol leaves the barrel at well over 500mph (depending on the manufacturer and make, could be over 1000mph), and a bullet is far more aerodynamic than a person. The most horizontal distance I’ve ever heard of one covering is less than 2 miles.
That is not to say Aquarium couldn’t do it, in a crowded city I’m sure “pool density” is probably greater than 1 per 1/2 mile….
